Once Mia began working as an acupuncturist she soon became aware of the high demand for acupuncture from patients with limited mobility that can benefit greatly from acupuncture but can find it difficult to access a clinic. This inspired her to begin visiting immobile patients where they reside.
Mia provides affordable, compassionate care for all stages of life and health. For the comfort and safety of her patients, treatments may be arranged in your home, office, nursing home, assisted living facility, hospice and other health care locations.

Who can benefit from home visits?
- The Elderly- Sometimes it’s hard for seniors to travel, or there isn’t anyone available to take them to an appointment during business hours.
- Children- Let children receive treatment where they feel the safest.
- Mental Health- for those suffering from agoraphobia and other mental health issues.
- People with Severe Pain- Sometimes we are in such acute pain it is difficult or impossible to leave the house.
- People in Hospice- Many patients do not wish to be on so many medications at the end of their life. Acupuncture can help with the pain, anxiety and emotional stress that sometimes surrounds death. It is an honor to be there at the end. Mia can help at this difficult time.
- Women- those utilizing assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as IVF and intrauterine insemination (IUI) can have acupuncture in the comfort of their homes before and after their procedures or at the fertility center of their choice. Also, for pregnant women who wished to be induced or have Mia present during their labor and birth. (Ask about rates for Labor and Birth assistance).
BENEFITS FOR CAREGIVERS
Caring for a sick or elderly loved one can take a toll on family members and other caregivers. Caregivers are self-sacrificing, often overlooking their own physical and mental needs. Acupuncture can provide a much-needed break for family members and caregivers.
This natural therapy reduces stress and has a calming effect on the central nervous system. It is also wonderful for treating pain, especially in the neck, shoulders and back. For your convenience, Mia can treat both you and your loved during a single home visit.
HOME VISIT FEES (not valid through Sage Wellness Center)
The cost for this service is $120 per visit plus mileage when outside the service area, which includes a complimentary stress relief treatment for the caregiver. A second full acupuncture treatment for the caregiver or additional family member is half-price (when administered during the same visit).
